What is Yoga?
Yoga is many things to many people. To us at Bloom, Yoga is essentially the practice of physical postures, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and conscious relaxation. Yoga practice can help you develop a strong and flexible body while relieving stress and producing a feeling of overall well-being. Over time, this enables you to become more comfortable and connected, body and mind.

What are the benefits of Yoga?
Where to start? Different people find different benefits from the practice, but here are some of the most common: · Increased flexibility · Increased strength · Better balance · Better posture · Deeper breath · Clearer mind · Decreased pain · More energy · Reduced stress

Do I have to be young, in shape, or very flexible?
Nope. Yoga is for people of all ages and for bodies of all shapes and sizes. Even if you're not as fit or flexible as you'd like to be right now, don't let that stop you! Our introductory classes have people of all different physical backgrounds. You’ll feel right at home.

What should I wear?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and dress in layers so you can adjust should you get hot or cool.
