Massage
More than just an occasional 'treat'
Regular massage is essential in these increasingly stress-filled times. Massage may help improve circulation, boost immune system functioning, and release old stress patterns. Just as yoga practice is more beneficial when practiced on a consistent basis, massage is most effective when received regularly. At Bloom, we believe strongly in massage and offer discounted Massage Cards to make it even easier to take care of yourself. See below for information about Massage Cards. Commit to regular massage for your health and well-being, your body will thank you for it!

Neuromuscular Massage
Therapeutic techniques to address pain patterns
Relieve chronic pain and tightness with this thorough program of recovery. The therapist integrates targeted therapies such as myofascial work, trigger points, stretching, and self-care to address the causes of most neuromuscular pain patterns, producing a long-lasting response. These techniques, combined with analysis of postural dysfunction, can achieve the goal of actually reprogramming muscle behavior. This clinical form of massage can be very effective in treating localized conditions such as sports injuries, recurring tension, tendonitis, TMJ, headaches, and more.

Hot Rock Massage
A soothing and deep experience
Treat yourself to this modern version of an American Indian ritual. The therapist uses warm rocks to massage the body, enabling you to enjoy a deep tissue massage without discomfort! Cold stones are used to reduce inflammation. The alternating heat and cold will relax you and stimulate your body's own healing process. For effective treatment, we recommend a 90 min session so you may receive the benefits of both hot and cold stones.
