Tess Henkel

Tess’s journey on the mat began in 2011 shortly after moving to Chicago. She started yoga as a form of exercise but soon realized that the benefits of yoga extend much deeper than the physical poses. Tess graduated from Bloom Yoga Studio in 2016 with a 200 hour certification and in 2017 completed a 20 hour restorative training. By studying and practicing the eight limbs of yoga, Tess reconnects to a wellspring of energy in her own life. She seeks to help others on their own journey inward through a mixture of deeply restorative postures and strength-building vinyasa flows. Tess’s teaching style stems from the early Hatha yoga masters and she approaches the practice with a holistic curiosity.
