Rachel Bers

Rachel’s passion for yoga dates back to her teenage years when she experimented with the practice as a means to grow taller. She fell in love with yoga from her first experience on the mat, and although she hasn’t grown much physically, her dedication to the practice of yoga has been soaring ever since. Inspired to share the gift of yoga with others, Rachel completed her 200-hour teaching certification in 2007 at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica under the tutelage of master teachers Don & Amba Stapleton. Rachel’s teaching style is an inspired blend of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow and her classes encourage fluidity, mindfulness, and fun within a context of alignment, creative sequencing, and breath work. Rachel tries to establish a warm, open environment where practitioners feel safe to travel within, connect with themselves, and become present in their practice.

When she’s not practicing yoga, Rachel enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and matchmaking.
